Gilligan’s accommodation is located in the city centre and offers spacious, air-conditioned, en-suite rooms in dorm-style accommodation or private hotel rooms.
Facilities include free linen, free Wi-Fi, free luggage storage, pool tables, powder room, fitness room and four brand new 'state of the art' communal kitchens, fully equipped for you to prepare all your meals. We also have onsite Workers wanted agency. We have a huge swimming pool so you can chill-out with friends at a safe distance or keep fit and active while spending time here in Cairns.
The health and safety of all staff, guests and patrons remains paramount at Gilligan’s. Management encourages everyone to take Social Distancing and personal hygiene seriously and to immediately action the Australian governments and Health Officials warnings and directions surrounding COVID19.

Very loud party place! Bring earplugs.
Great hostel overall - with a pool and loud music club. It's huge too- hundreds of people.

Great hostel. Definitely recommend. But dear staff, please make sure there are no more pigeons in the kitchen

Party hostel, back bedrooms hear the club but nothing that earplugs can’t drown out (4th floor). 4 bed dorms (no bunks-winning) are spacious with balcony and private bathrooms. Room sparkling clean so delighted about that. Room key gives great discounts and happy hours are great in the bar downstairs. Don’t be afraid to book here!
