Our Hostel is situated in Samara center just 50m from the beach and is well known for its charming ambience and social atmosphere. Bars, restaurants, supermarkets, ATMs and bus stops are close by. The Hostel offers dormitories and private rooms for an affordable price and has a great outside area with hammocks to hang out and meet other travellers. The bright and spacious rooms are well equipped with fans, lockers and cupboards. In our communal kitchen you can find everything you need, even free coffee in the morning. : )

Hostel managed by young volunteers. Very small room for 8 people, almost no space for the backpacks/luggages. One toilet and shower for I dont know how many person. No key to close the room. Nice common areas.

The people were really nice. One staff almost overcharged us 15$, but the other staff quadruple checked (bless her soul) and fixed it. Very chill atmosphere. This is where the pleasantries end. This place is SO dirty. SO cramped. This was our least favourite hostel ever. We couldn't wait to leave. The bathrooms smelled like old pee. A dirty place makes for a poor energy and that's how we felt. There wasn't as many lockers as there was beds in the room and the door doesn't lock. Definitely not enough bathroo

I had the most wonderful time at Las Mariposas. The vibes were immaculate-the volunteers, owners and their whole cast of friends stopping by have such a fun, loving, welcoming energy. Perfect location across the street from a little outdoor restaurant mercadito and a short walk from the rest of Samara.
