Steffis Hostel Heidelberg opened in May 2009 and we would be very happy to welcome you in person to our friendly and green oasis in the heart of Heidelberg.
Located just metres from the main station we would like to offer you an affordable and comfortable choice of accommodation.
You can stay in one of our beautifully and individually furnished Doubles or Dorms and enjoy the cosy atmosphere together with other Travellers and Backpackers from all over the world.
We love backpacking and we love nature and therefore do our very best to give you a homey & natural place where you can relax from the wild days on the road.
The team of the Hostel is there for you, we would like to help you with planning your Heidelberg stay and onward journey.

Fine place to stay for a day or so. Not social, common area and kitchen were empty every time I was around. Not many toilets for how many rooms there were, I had to wait every time I had to go in the morning. Showers are on a 10 second timer (you have to push it on every 10 secs), and most weren’t super clean and didn’t drain very well. Staff were always friendly. Not a bad place to stay but not great either.

Nice place! Pretty quiet and the rooms, washrooms and showers were nice and clean. It’s definitely a bit of a trek into the core but not terrible. Nicely located next to the bus and train station.
