Other facilities are: there is an amazing panoramic view of the mountains and the lake, under floor heating; 1, 2, 3 and 4 people rooms and much more...

Please note that due to severe fluctuations in the Argentine pesos, rates are in USD to avoid any price difference and misunderstandings. If at the time of making your reservation you choose to see the rate in ARS, please beware that Hostelworld show a referential Bloomberg´s rate, but the in force exchange rate for tourism is the Tourist or MEP exchange rate, which is much higher. This is why rates are in USD and do not change.
We reserve the right to pre-authorise your card in order to ensure credit card details are correct.
We will ask you to provide the CVV code and failure to provide it will result on booking cancellation

We have a 48hr cancellation policy. All cancellations and changes must be made by email or they will not be accepted.

The hostel is very nicely located and the views from the terrace and common area are amazing. However the high price attracts older people and groups rather than low-budget travelers. This has a big impact on the atmosphere in the hostel. Also the idea of placing bathrooms and toilets in the dorms is quite bad. You have all the smells right there, next to your bed... I liked my stay but I would not have payed this money for it again. The next time I was in El Calafate I chose another hostel.

Staff that truly go out of their way to help you and make you feel at home. The kind of people who remember your name after meeting you once. I changed my trip so that I could stay here again, that’s how much I enjoyed it. Wonderful hostel, great for solo travelling, thanks for the hospitality!

Great hostel with amazing energy and a great way to meet people as a solo traveler. The staff are lovely and always super helpful. they can help organize tours but are also generally always happy to help. Rooms were cleaned daily and beds were very comfortable. The only thing is that it is a bit of a hike out of town but nothing dramatic.
