We love exploring exciting ways to change the journey, and we have big news - Clink i Lár is here – Dublin’s coolest backpacker hostel!
The phrase “I Lar” means ‘in the middle of’ in the Irish language, and Clink i Lár is true to its name. Our brand-new hostel is located right in the heart of Dublin city center, on the city’s historic Abbey Street.

Clink i Lár’s central location makes it easily accessible from all parts of Dublin. Express buses run every few minutes from Dublin Airport to O’Connell Street, just a 5-minute walk from Clink. Dublin Bus numbers 16 and 41 also operate from the airport and stop at O’Connell Street, for the more cost-conscious traveler.

Clink i Lár is specially designed for the modern backpacker, offering your very own private rooms and shared dormitories in a range of sizes. Every dorm bed at Clink i Lár has an LED light, a power outlet, a USB port, and a curtain for your privacy.

Our very own bar, WunderBAR, harmonizes the curiosities of travel with the romance of traditional Irish storytelling. It’s the perfect spot to taste that first drink in Ireland or get to know some of Dublin’s finest craft breweries.

Clink i Lár Policy and Conditions:

General:
24 hours reception.

Payment upon arrival by credit cards, debit cards.
Taxes included.
No curfew.

Check-in – Check-out:
Check-in from 4 pm
Check out up to 10 am.
Please make sure to bring valid photo identification with you, a passport, government-issued I.D. card, or driving license - no photocopies will be accepted.

Age Restrictions:
Bookings cannot be accepted by any person under the age of 18 unless they are accompanied by an adult (18 or over). Guests who wish to bring their children under 16 years of age must book a whole dorm or private room. For guests aged 16 or 17 years of age, they can book into one of the dorm rooms but must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 or over).

Breakfast:
Breakfast is not included in the price.
Breakfast is from €10.50 per adult. You need to contact the hostel to book your breakfast.
Breakfast is served from Mon – Fri between 7.00 AM and 10.30 AM & from Sat- Sun between 8.00 AM and 11.00AM

Cancellation Policies:
Non-Refundable rate: this rate offers no flexibility. Non-refundable bookings that cannot be changed or canceled are prepaid. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Fully Flexible Rate: This rate offers full flexibility on your booking up to 24hrs before arrival. The total price of the booking will be charged 24hrs before arrival.
Note: If the total value of a single booking is greater than or equal to €1,000.00, a 20% deposit will be required to confirm your booking regardless of the rate type selected.

Miscellaneous:
Non-smoking hostel.
24-hour reception.
Towels are provided only in specific rooms, such as private rooms. For other room types, towels can be rented for a small fee. Guests are also welcome to bring their towels.
There is no onsite parking available.
No pets or animals are allowed, apart from guide dogs. Please contact the hostel for more information.

Accessibility:
Some of our 6-bed dorms are wheelchair accessible. If requested, these dorms can be converted into private rooms. Please contact the hostel for more information, their reservations team will be happy to provide you more information.

Groups policy:
Group conditions apply to all groups of 10 people or more. Special terms and conditions will apply for group bookings. We recommend you contact the hostel for more information.
Age restriction: Guests must be 15+ years old for arrival between March and October (included) and 12+ years old from November through February (request ONLY – we will need to be told at the time of booking).
Payment Policy:
Non-refundable rate: Full payment is required within 24 hours of confirming the booking regardless of the rate type selected.
Flexible rate: 20% of the total amount is due immediately after booking confirmation. This amount is non-refundable. The balance equal to the remaining 80% of the amount is due within 30 days before arrival.
