Fantastic location with cool cats that wander the place. However the showers and bedrooms were very dim with close to zero natural light. I was using a flashlight during the daytime in the dorms. Shower didn’t drain well either. The owners are nice but the experience was overall kind of odd.

My friend and I stayed here for 4 days and had the BEST time. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy; but for me the hot shower made it 12/10. The owners went out of their way to make us have a great stay - they gave us an electric heater for the roof and a speaker. There is a rooftop with kittens and a picturesque view of the mountains.The common area has a huge tv where we got to watch Netflix at night. It is in an amazing neighborhood and we were able to walk everywhere. DONT MISS!!

For the price, it's hard to complain. There's a lot of potential- nice deco but the hostel is still under renovation- they never told us this. Our dorm had no door so when the staff make noise at 7:30am, we can't block that out. Guest kitchen still under renovation, terrace also under renovation so we just felt like we were in the way of renovations! The owners aren't there in the morning or at night, so didn't feel secure. Room wasn't cleaned during our 4 day stay. Laundry is $100 (pricey!).
