Hostel Kanina is relatively new in the market place. We provide excellent accommodation at really low prices. The owner would meet and great you and will be your host for the whole period of stay. You will be given the necessary information to have a local experience in Saranda.
The city centre and the promenade is located within walking distance. There are many local restaurant in the area nearby. There is a bar in the rooftop and a coffe shop in the first floor. Everything is within waking distance.

Stayed here one night, staff were good felt quite safe for a solo female traveller. Definitely the type of place for a nice quiet stay. Beds comfy everything was quite clean. A few broken facilities here and there but nothing that would be a detriment to your stay. :)

The hostel is more of a very basic hotel with dorms on the top floor. We stayed in a private room, they initially seemed to have overbooked and we had to wait for a room, but they did find one for us, it was clean and had air con and a balcony so everything we needed. We felt like it might usually be a staff room because staff kept coming in by accident, and there was no shower curtain or toilet roll. There were no staff around at all and we didn’t get a welcome. i waited at the reception desk, ringing the bell every so often for help and it turned out the worker on duty was taking a shower and doing her hair. the room did not have AC , when it says it does. I asked the manager and he said to use the remote but neither me or another person in the room has any idea where this remote was. it was hot. the internet is spotty. the hostel is clean however and it is not a far walk from the beach and definelty worth the price for those reasons !
