Rio Elemento Ecolodge is a large villa next to Minca's main river, a little downstream from the famous 'Pozo Azul' waterfalls. It's a 5 minute walk to the center of town where most restaurants, coffee shops, bars and transport offices are located. Perched at the top of 2 hectares of tropical gardens the Villa boasts a 30 meter swimming pool, bar, restaurant, giant hammocks, WiFi, poolside sunbathing and yoga deck, hot showers, en-suite dorms, mountain biking, hiking, pool and Spanish and English speaking staff.

Amazing hostel with it's own access to river, loads of massive hammocks everywhere, exceptional bar and extremely kind and attentive staff. We could easily stay there a week not leaving the hostel. The only thing is, they should really reconsider their approach to cleaning, as common areas are simply dirty.

Overall really nice. The property is beautiful, good location, great space to chill. However, we stayed in the Deluxe Double Bed Private Ensuite and the bed was rock hard.
