Peacefully located close to the River Salzach, a 25 minute walk from Salzburg's Old Town, the hostel is the ideal spot to visit the city's sights. Rooms have 1-6 beds, most with private bathroom, and facilities include TV room, cafeteria, a large garden, and a kitchen serving lunch, dinner and packed lunch.
We also have WLAN and internet access in our friendly cafeteria. TV lounge, table tennis, outdoor chess, volleyball and a large terrace with a barbecue guarantee a holiday not to be forgotten. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available.
For non members we add Euro 3,-- per person per night for welcome stamps.
Our Hostel is open daily from 07.00 – 10.00 a.m. (Check-Out) and from 17.00 – 22.30 p.m. (Check-In).
Every guest has his own key for the maindoor – No curfew / No age limit

Off the beaten path, a bit of a walk to the nearest transport unless you borrow a bike and go along the Salzach. (Hard in December!) But a great deal...I was alone in my 6-person dorm room (which I had reserved for myself, but still), it was quiet, comfortable and a great price esp. for Salzburg. I would try the one on the other side of the river first if possible, but if not, no hesitation.

the receptionist was so kind !! location is a bit out of the way but not bad. the rooms are quite nice and the breakfast is free !!!

A bit of a strange place. Off the beaten track a little and an old/part time school which was a bit eerie with nobody around. Receptionist seemed to not know what we were doing there, but was helpful enough. Rooms had great size storage lockers for bags, but no kitchen was a bit of a difficulty with the place being a little far from town centre. Public transport was excellent with the stop not too far a walk from hostel. Bike rental service was cheap and good. The city itself is incredible.
