The youth hostel in Grindelwald is just as international and multifaceted, accommodating thrill-seekers, mountaineers, skiers and tourists in groups or as solo travellers. At the foot of the legendary three peaks sits a trio of houses with offerings for a wide range of holiday wishes – whether in the rustic and cosy chalet, the bright and modern new-build, or the romantic, tucked-away forest hut. A particular treat is our 'hot pot', a large, outdoor hot tub that offers wellness with a view, in any weather.

Take the 122 bus up from the train station, that will save you from walking up the MASSIVE hill to get to this place - that isnt in the info, but absolutely should be. The beautiful hot tub in the pictures? It costs 125CHF for an evening in it. The only reason I booked this hostel was the hot tub, but was super bummed that it was so outrageously expensive - the cost to use that should also be in the info.

Up a steep hill and the last bus that goes up is at 6pm. There’s a lot of children and families. However the view from the hostel dorms is breathtaking and makes up for all of that.
