The legendary Mix Hostel is a small and more than 30 years old Sichuanese style house hidden in the bustling city centre with few minutes walk from city's largest heritage 'Wenshu Temple', it has been offering budget accommodation and tours exclusively for international travellers since 2004.
Hostel is very much strategically located: 1 metro stop from 'North Railway Station' and 2 metro stops from 'Mao Statue', with short distance access to 'Wenshu Temple', it's not only super easy to get around the city but also a great chance to get touch with Chengdu's local culture.
Sleep tight and got up, more comprehensive food menu is also ready from 7am till 10pm serving toasts, pizza, burgers, pastas while many local dishes can be also found on menu for those who would like to try a bit food adventure.

One of my favourite hostels in China. It's more like a home! I planned to spend here 5 days, ended up staying for 3 weeks.. Great atmosphere, amazing stuff, friendly and helpful with everything. Super cozy common area, making it very easy to meet new people. Loved the events organized by the stuff (Halloween party, dumplings, hot pot). Shared facilities very clean (the cleaning ladies are everywhere). Rooms are small but nice, beds very comfy with electric blanket and curtains. Very recommended!

The location of the hostel is extremely convenient. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again, if given a chance. Good value for money!

Good facilities and room for what we needed - bed was slightly uncomfortable. Shared toilet and showers were clean and good water pressure - didn’t have an issue with needing to go and not being able to use the facilities. Lady working on reception had great English and was able to help and advise us well. 1 suggestion is that their tours are expensive. Leshan tour was ¥700 but public transport (train) was ¥54 one way. Receptionist didn’t say when we asked if there was a cheaper way to get there
