So wonderful! Felt like home from the moment we arrived. Was able to park the car in their garage space for added security, and the space was safe and clean. Host was kind and breakfast was delicious!

The location is great, in the historical center and close to a busy street filled with restaurants and bars. However, the rooms are quite small and the bathrooms even smaller (for individual bathrooms). It was also quite cold, which isn't the hotel's fault, but in retrospect I would have asked for more blankets. Also, as of July 2022 there is big construction on the street where the hostel itself is, so you'll have to ask to be dropped off on Rocafuerte and just walk down the street halfway.
