The a&o Muenchen Hauptbahnhof was opened in 2005 right next to the Central Station. The small hostel in the city centre has a quiet atmosphere and modern rooms, almost all equipped with their own balcony.
The a&o Muenchen Hauptbahnhof is just 400 meters away from the Central Station and is thus easy to reach by train. Due to the a&o's central location the Altstadt can be easily reached by foot and is the ideal starting point for excursions into the Munich city centre.
At the a&o Muenchen Hauptbahnhof almost every room has a balcony. In just five minutes you can be at the Theresienwiese to not only take part in the hustle and bustle of Oktoberfest but also just to relax and have a picnic. Due to its very central location we can only recommend public transport. For those arriving by car we offer our own underground parking. Our staff will also glady provide you with insider information on the best parking spots nearby.

The hostel has quite good location. The dorm was quite big and spacious, but some facilities were not the best: broken sockets, bathroom was terrible with no door in the shower, and it was for both male and females, so everyone could see everything. the living room is quite comfy and there is possibility to get breakfast or buy coffee. its a pity that there is no proper kitchen for cooking. The atmosphere was creepy, strange and weird people. Room and bathrooms bit dirty.Staff was very friendly.

Where should I start, almost everything was bad about this hostel. Room was not cleaned. Unhygienic bed sheets, towels, pillows and even the blankets. Room was underground and you can hear the sound of people talking outside on the street, even the sound of tram running all night. No power socket near the bed. Bathroom was small, and sink was so tiny that you can’t even wash your hand without getting the water splashed on your dress. No cleanliness in the bathroom as well. It’s a disappointment!
