Hostel Vista Serena is the first hostel in Manuel Antonio designed for young people. We are recommended by the Lonely Planet guide and the Hostelling International. Set on a mountain, surrounded by jungle, with awesome views of the Pacific Ocean, the hostel is the perfect place to experience the peace of paradise and the thrill of local attractions.

Our hostel is specially designed for foreign visitors. You get the rainforest and Costa Rica's most beautiful beach, and still have all of the comforts of home.

We run a small, secluded hostel, and offer personalized services to our guests. Our goal is to cater to the individual - with a little Costa Rican touch!

I have stayed in morę than 100 hostels and this one is in top 3 the worst. Very, very dirty. I found nail on the table. The receptionist was not nice, not helpfull at all. Luck od atmosphere. No breakfast. Only 1 bathroom for 12 people. Only advantages are view from the balcony and beatiful cat.

a hostel with a nice view and a lobby but the room is another story. my mattress was so old it had a hole in its center! everything else I can accept, but it seems to me that guaranteeing a good night's sleep for backpackers is an attitude
