Wanaka Bakpaka has a stunning view overlooking Lake Wanaka. Whether it be summer or winter the view of the Lake and Mountains show of whatever season you choose to visit Wanaka.
Our lounge and dinning room are T.V free which allows guests to relax, chat to fellow travelers or enjoy a nice glass of wine. We have a well stocked kitchen, a BBQ outside area and full Laundry facilities.
All of our rooms are clean and simple backpacker rooms. We offer a small amount of private rooms and mixed dorm and share rooms.
Wanaka has a range of activities to suit any traveler. You can simply sit by the Lakefront with a coffee and enjoy the views or Skydive over our beautiful mountains!

Private room with ensuite bathroom was super nice! The building itself was very cute and had a great view of the lake from the cute porch chairs! The outlets/power strip were a little off and blew my charging block but otherwise a perfect stay!

Nice Hostel. Location is great with a good view of the lake. Room was basic, but all facilities were clean, staff was nice and all in all a good value for money
