Historic former hospital with lovely views of the city, harbour and peninsula, a short walk from the main street and city centre. Rooms are peaceful and spacious with excellent, unlimited, fibre optic WIFI. Alcohol restricted to the bottom floor in our pool table lounge and dining room. There is a sheltered but sunny courtyard with herb garden and compost system. The upstairs lounge is beautifully sunny and filled with books and games. Being a former hospital, most rooms have taps and sinks and there are plenty of bathroom facilities.
All linen is included, all rooms have heaters and are lockable. The building has a door code lock for 24 hour access.
There's complimentary tea and coffee in our large well-equipped kitchen.

Only stayed one night and arrived late so not much to review. The hostel is at the top of a very big, rather steep hill and walking it with heavy luggage is not recommended. Interesting building that was once an old 1904 hospital
