This is a great hostel. The main highlight is the staff: they are all really helpful and really fun people :). The free breakfast is very nice (and I'm sure the upgrade is good too, but I didn't have it). The facilities are great: swimming pool, pool table, table tennis, big TV, PS3, weights, nice bar area, hammocks, etc etc. Make sure not to miss the free caipirinha (cocktail) every night! When we were there, the WiFi only worked at reception, but apparently it usually works everywhere.

I was really shocked to be charged extra to use sheets and pillowcases. Apart from that, the place was fine. Nothing special. Doesn't seem like the greatest place to socialise.

Everything here is very good. The staff were friendly, fun, and welcoming. The room was very very good quality for a hostel. Comfortable beds, clean and well maintained bathroom, good shower (I was in a 10 bed mixed ensuite). They have a very simple breakfast available in the morning for 3 Euro. Not the best deal you'll ever find, but definitely very convenient. The wifi is good and they have a few computers that can be used. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!

Bread, jam, marmalade and cereal was provided for breakfast. Beware that laundry is available, but very expensive (€7). The staff was really nice and friendly, and they actually sat and chilled with the guests sometimes. Kilkenny isn't the most exciting place to be, but if you're coming through for a few days, then I'd definitely recommend staying here.

This place was great. Nice and clean, friendly staff, comfortable and high quality beds (for a hostel, that is). I would definitely recommend it. To have the best experience, make sure to go to happy hour and to join in with Mama's dinner. You're bound to have a lot of fun and meet a lot of nice people that way :).

I couldn't imagine a cooler place to stay. They have an on-site bar (with pool table) and smoking room. The showers in the basement were brilliant. The location is unbeatable - close to the centraal station, close to shopping, close to the red light district, good food nearby (I recommend Nam Kee in China town, mmm). This was a really cool place that attracts really cool people, and there are tons of opportunities to socialise.

This was a brilliant hostel, great value for the money. The hostel is attached to a pub, which is very lively in its own right. Hostel customers get deals on drink and food. The hostel was safe - bring a padlock and you can lock your stuff in a cage under your bed. Really hip and trendy area of London. Very convenient for Camden Market and Horse Tunnel Market.

My girlfriend and I stayed for 1 night in a 2 bed mixed dorm. The hostel was nice and clean, everything was good quality. It definitely feels a but more like a hotel than a hostel. There is a cafe on the ground floor which could possibly act as a common area to meet people. This is a good place to stay for an inexpensive good night's sleep, but not necessarily to socialise.

The location is not in Manhattan, but still very convenient. We arrived on a Wednesday, which was live music night - very cool! The common areas were good, and the staff was cool. They have free computers to use, and you can print for free, which was useful for checking into our flight. Everything in this hostel is brand new and high quality.

Really high qualit, clean place. The beds in my room were not bunk beds, and they were comfortable. Kitchen facilities were a bit crowded at times, but you can make your own food. The location is a short walk to the (gorgeous) beach, where you can swim, play volleyball, etc. Also close to the so called rock church. One slightly annoying thing was that every time you leave you need to submit your key to the front desk. If the desk was busy when you returned, then you'd have to wait a while.

The atmosphere here was really great. The common areas are very condusive to social interaction. Every evening there was happy hour in the bar where people would hang out, talking, plating guitar, generally having a good time. There were gardens outside to sit and enjoy the fresh air. They have laundry facilities and a good kitchen. Many people cooked their own food. I would highly recommend this place :).

My experience here was generally good, although this is not a typical hostel. For most of my stay, there was only me and one other person in the hostel. Oh, and this was in late July... peak tourist season! Pros: excellent facilities, the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, living room, etc were all very high quality. Better than any other hostel I've stayed in. It was very comfy Cons: not a great place for meeting people. The reception opens at 10 am, at best. Receptionist doesn't speak English.

The best part of this hostel is that the staff mainly consists of gorgeous Polish girls, who were very friendly and helpful. They helped me find my way to various attractions, and gave me a lot of local info. Also, they have free breakfast and dinners, and every night they bring guests to go clubbing. The only downside to my stay here was when some British guy vomited on himself (and his friend on the bunk below him) at 4am... but I can't blame the hostel for that!

This hostel gets the name "anago" from its the long narrow hallways (anago is a type of eel). I think that this hostel will be very good once the lobby and café is completed (currently under construction). he place was locked during the day, which was really inconvenient. Staff didn't speak any English, but were really friendly.

The place was good. The staff were nice and spoke English well. My room was a little smelly.

The staff here were so friendly and helpful. The hostel was also very clean and cozy. The guests were a mixture of Japanese and foreign, all fun people, and were also helpful for giving suggestions for places to go. It is a little far from places like Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku, etc, but the location is still good. It is close to the Skytree (you can see it clearly from the end of the road), many restaurants and the Tawaramachi metro station from which you can get anywhere.
