Dojazd do Permaville Volunteer Hostel

From Puerta Plata airport (POP) (closest, 10 minutes from our house): For 700 pesos ($18) a public taxi can pick you up. Or you can walk to the main road and get a gua gua (public taxi) heading toward Puerto Plata (to the right). Get off at MetroGas sign to Munoz (ask the driver).

Then get another taxi with a white hat that says Munoz and ask the driver to drop you off a Frente de Restaurante Tomar Antigua. See Munoz Taxi to House.

From Santiago airport (1 hour from our house) � Take a taxi to Caribe tours and take a bus to Puerto Plata. See bus station to house below.

From Santo Domingo airport (4 hours from our house)
Take a taxi to the Caribe or Javilla bus tour company and get on a bus to Puerto Plata. It should cost 300 pesos ($7.50). See bus station to house below.

From Puerto Plata bus station to house
Then outside the bus station in Puerto Plata, go to the main road and look for a taxi with a white hat on top that says Munoz. It costs 30 pesos (.75). Tell the driver you want to get off: 'A frente de Restaurante Tomar Antigua.' Look for a big gate on the right; we are the second house back. The house is yellow.
