Mountain View Guest House, owned and managed by Meao and Malcolm, is situated in the quiet countryside just 4km from the historic Old City of Sukhothai in Thailand. Surrounded by the ancient ruins of Wats (temples and monasteries), some of them built as early as 1200-1300AD, the Guest House offers a simple but comfortable place to stay while you spend a few days exploring this fascinating area. There are 6 double rooms, with a choice of air conditioning or ceiling-fan, each with an en-suite bathroom with hot shower. A large swimming pool is open year-round, and makes a perfect place to spend the hottest part of the day. Six-speed mountain bikes are available to rent from the restaurant for just 35 Baht per day (less than a dollar!) and make a pleasant way of exploring the area. If you'd like to venture further a field, we also offer motor bikes (clutchless 110cc Suzuki scooters) for only 195 Baht per day (around $5). With its friendly homely atmosphere, this is the perfect destination to wind down and relax in a peaceful environment.
